Yeah, you can run it on any configuration of DVI ports on the back of the cards.

The Nvidia control panel even has diagrams showing you what is plugged in to where .

Yes, its possible, Just make sure to configure them properly, and by reading the Title, the first thing that came to my mind was "You can SLI Monitors???" XD

just use the SLI hack. as you can see on my sig rig I have an amd board but SLI is working fine.

If you can get to your desired OC without going over 1.47V then i'd get the msi 1 instead
If not get an Asrock board and sli hack it. same price as the nvidia chipset board but much better quality

Thats because it uses an NVIDIA chipset, not an AMD chipset, like I was saying... I don't know much about newer Nvidia Chipsets, just that back in the Intel 775 days, the Intel Chipset was much preferred.

I just don't want to see you get that board and find overclocking and stability to be meh compared to the amd built counterparts.

SLI hack seems to be working well on AMD boards, might be worth a shot.
