Which ones better? Trying to stick with ddr2 boards only, because I do not want to update ram because it cost money.

I would go with the Biostar board as I am no Foxconn fan.

For slightly more money you could go with a DDR3 board...

BIOSTAR TA790GXB3

Team 4GB (2 x 2GB)

Also the Biostar board supports 125W CPUs. Don't trust the Newegg reviews. Go check it out yourself at the Biostar site.

Why are you recommending a ddr3 board if you're saying that review on newegg is a lie and that the biostar ddr2 motherboard does support higher watts cpus? Is that board you're recommending alot better than the Biostar ddr2 one or is the only difference that ones ddr2 and the other is ddr3? Because I could care less about having ddr3 memory. Its just another expense.

That's a tough choice, but I would side with the Biostar for expandability purposes in a larger case.

DDR3 is another expense but it's cheap now, also it wont be "out dated" until 2015. You could easily use DDR3 in ANY new motherboard you buy. The problem with DDR2 now is just the lack of boards available. I know DDR2 is just fine performance wise, but if you can't find a quality board then why bother.

If I were you I'd sell the DDR2 and go with DDR3. It'll open you to a wide world of better boards.

Whats the difference between BIOSTAR TA790XE and BIOSTAR TA790GXB3 other than one being ddr2 and other being ddr3? Are the quality the same?
