Hi there

Hello OCN,

First of all, my name is Alex. I'm a 16 year old boy from Romania who has been lurking here for a while. (Sorry if my english isn't the perfect.)

Anyway, i'm looking to build a new computer, mainly for gaming, light Photoshop and will start to learn working in Sony Vegas, Flash player etc.
My budget is ~ 1400$ (!? since I'm not from USA i just used a convertor and this is the result, but if you ask me is a little too much)

My whole life, i just owned 2 desktops(first was a P4, second was an AMD Athlon x2 2300+ iirc) and now i'm currently using my mom's laptop(a Celeron )

Since summer, i sold most of my second PC so got some cash and decided to wait for SB to release.
Now just to tell you what i already have:
Antec 300
Logitech LX 710 combo
Philips 170T LCD (really old one)
D-Link DIR 524

This build is meant to be upgraded in the (hopefully near) future, so some of the components are not even mid end.
I've been looking for parts(and read a review for almost each one) and decided to go with this:
CPU - Intel Core i5 2500K http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115072
RAM - Kingston HyperX Blu 2X2 GB 1600 mhz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...C9D3B1K2%2f4GX
Motherboard - Asus P8P67 Pro (as soon as it's available)
GPU - Palit GTS 450 (just choose the cheapest one) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-079-_-Product
PSU - Corsair CX 430W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...air%20CX%20430
HDD - Samsung Spinpoint F3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...20f3%20hd103sj
DVD Writer - Cheapest one available
Mouse + Mousepad - Steelseries Xai and SX (i just can't use the logitech one, is just bad)
Thermal Paste - Arctic Silver Ceramique (since i'm using the stock cooler, I just need some thermal paste to put on it if I have to reseat it)
Case fans - 2x Xigmatec XLF-F1256 (blue one) and one without led (XLF-F1251)

Now, i know the psu is not the best, i just want something cheap to power it on.
Any thoughts?
