I have been trying to get a WN311B Netgear adapter to work. No matter what I've done it will not work.

I guess I'll start out with my computer, I'm running Windows 7 64bit Professional, Using an AMD Phenom II X4, 8GB of RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series.

I have tried using the CD I received with the adapter, and also installed the drivers from the Netgear site. I think version 6.0 or 6.1. I have tried installing the drivers under compatibility mode and administrative setting. I have also tried unplugging the adapter, installing the drivers, and plugging the adapter back in. Looked online and nothing seemed to work. One error I get when trying to open the Smart Wizard is "The program can't start because NPPTools.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Reinstalling doesn't work.

What can I do? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
