With intel burn test, as long as your ambients stay the same, you will reach your max temp in the first 2/3 passes.

Heck I'll do 50 passes if you want just to prove it.

AMD's delay between runs which is why it takes longer. Intels are consistent and fluid without stopping so within the first 1-2 runs they tend to reach their max temperature.(But you need the AVX LinPacks.)

Attached LinX with the updated LinPacks for AVX on Sandybridge CPU's.

Hmmm, you're only getting 55gflops and I get 63, yet we're both at 4.5Ghz, thats odd.

It's because of hyperthreading.

Ahhhhh right fair enough.

How many gflops do you get with AVX?

I got 115gflops @ 4.5Ghz

Temps rose by 3c on all cores.
