Honestly when I was in cal-o/im I never really stroked my e-peen, but when I hit up cal-invite oh man could not shut me up about being an elitist. "What's that? Not cal-i? get on my level nerd" still say that to this day no matter what game I happen to be playing. Do not really mean to just happens since that was the game I played for 10 years. ;x
The scriming community of counter strike 1.6 is terrible. Game Surge @ #findscrim is just horrible a bunch of low bracket cal-o players and tons of hackers. Every single time I try to pug it up #findringer maybe last 10 minutes in a scrim never get to half time. NEVER. If it's just for playing too well and being kicked or the other team having a hacker.
Another terrible community on cs is...forgetting...what is it....oh man can not believe I forgot... AH YES! ESEA a majority of pugs never have team work, people calling each other bad, baiting, camping, mic spaming, so on. Even worse for me as I never play CS anymore and every other FPS game just kills the hell out of my cs "skill" so i get people raging at my steamid/cal-i proof and not doing so well. However if you play with "known" players as a majority population of the pug the game play is fantastic and the competition you get is well worth it.
I also have to agree with the WoW community being pretty bad. Trade chat is "anal this, thunderfury that, Murloc jokes, Chuck Norris, stupid answers" you name it it's there. That being said, the LFG(Looking for group) tool is just terrible, you get tons of players doing sub-par and talking trash the whole time. However it does have it's good times, you get some not so geared players/maybe geared who are just amazingly cool people to group with regardless if you are dying a lot they just make it fun. Also it's impossible to get help sometimes on WoW, sometimes you don't have a choice and you just can't get it unless you pay gold.
Also the xfire live community is pretty bad, back seat drivers who complain about the mistakes you do and trash talk you even when you are much more higher rated than them(WoW streams).
Think that's enough for now
