5x1 landscape on 2 OC 6850s

Thread Starter
I plan on buy 2 more 23" monitors cause i already have 3 so that i can have 5 but my problem is that im not 100% sure if i can do a 5x1 landscape eyefinity yet?

and if i am able would i be able to play a playable FPS (at least 30 or so)

System Specs:
ASUS M4A79XTD-EVO
AMD Phenom II x6 1090T OC @ 4.2GHz
6gigs of G.Skill 1600MHz RAM
and 2 MSI Factory Overclocked 6850s

and my resolution with the 5 monitors would be 9600x1080

Your GPU's aren't going to be able to handle that without having to turn the settings fairly low and have no aa to speak of

2 5870's will outperform 2 6850s and you might be able to play games at lower than max graphics settings. If you really want to be able to max out the setting though, you will need 2 gtx 580s or a couple 6970s. 5 1920x1080 monitors require huge graphics power to run well. And keep in mind that, although 5870s are faster cards than 6850s, the 5000 series does not scale nearly as well in crossfire and is much more buggy.
