Damn, it looks amazing. I'm not sure why more companies didn't licence the Serious engines; they were insane. I mean, Serious Sam: TFE was probably the best looking shooter of 2001 (along with Max Payne). Not to mention it was efficient, as well. Geforce 2 GTS + 2X AA@1024 could run the game at 60FPS with 50+ enemies on the screen.

Not bad; though I feel it could use more color.

Sounds stupid; but the Serious Sam series (say that 10 times fast) was supposed to have a more cartoony feel. Those monsters and such, looked a bit out of place for a SS game. More so, compared to the last HD remake.

The games have a Duke Nukem Feel, in the sense that you jsut kill everything in your way, without many puzzles. But overall they are just games that are fun to play. You should get the Serious Sam HD games from steam if you want a feel for the games.

This, runs and looks great on my NETBOOK. Definitely a superbly coded engine.
