The free version of Minecraft has no point, the aim is to simply build what you wish.

The paid version adds survival, enemies, the need for you to have to find your supplies (picks, axes, wood, dirt, etc.) and whatnot.

I've always preferred the free version over the paid one. Mainly because I can find servers.

It's just a creativity tool. Just go wild. I have about five friends on a server that I host and we just go wild. We're recreating famous places from Lord of the Rings. I'm working on the mines right now.

There is no point. Survival is just an afterthought, it really takes no effort. If you don't enjoy being creative and imaginative, it's not the game for you.

Very much so.

Gotta pace yourself though. I played for hours on end for the first few days, got burned out and took a week long break, and then did the same thing again.

There is no point to the game..
That is the fun of it, you make your own objective.Personally, Minecraft is boring for me on single-player. Multi-player though, it's real fun.

I concur.

Its all about creativity and enjoyment if the game sparks that kind of interest to oneself.
