I actually really enjoy the multiplayer in Crysis 2. The game play is smooth, the nanosuit is very neat for different aspects of combat. Jumping and air stomping keep the game play interesting. Overall, I like it and probably will buy it once it's released. With that said, motion blur will be the first thing I disable (it's almost nauseating). I'll probably turn the bloom down as well, I feel like I should be wearing sunglasses while playing this game.

For anyone interested, here's a FRAPS benchmark from three minutes of online play with my sig rig. Kind of disappointed that two unlocked 6950s only produce 53 fps but hey, hopefully newer drivers will changed that.

Graphics Settings: Hardcore
Resolution: 1920x1080
Map: Skyline

Here are my GPU settings. As you can see, this game is very taxing on my cards, 99% usage and still hitting 80C with a custom fan profile (You'll see a max of 90C in the screenie but that was the max before I enabled my profile for testing).

EDIT: Just had a look at the Crysis 2 performance charts from Nvidia and it appears as those my 6950s are comparable to a single GTX 570. Anyone with crossfire 6950s or 6970s want to run a FRAPS bench?

I wouldn't worry about it. Performance should increase quite a bit with a driver update from AMD.

Even as it is, I wouldn't worry much, if you get that with everything maxed out, then it's fine. Min FPS of 40+ is just fine.

I'd be more worried if a driver update does not keep that kind of performance for maxed out DX11 when the game comes out.

I have an Eyefinity setup, that's the only reason I have two 6950s. I'm hoping it's just that crossfire and SLI are broken in the demo. As of right now, I get 20 fps at 5760x1080 with Hardcore settings. Hopefully it will be playable when/if they fix crossfire. :/

its weird seeing everyone with a sweet rig getting low FPS I only have a single crap Radeon 5830 not oc'd, and im getting around 40-50 fps on Hardcore settings. So i would say yes it has to be an issue with SLI. Also having an I7 should also be of big help, i only have a Thuban low end at that and still doing great on this game.
