Amd Athlon II x4 630/Corsair 4gb Ram OC HELP!

AMD Athlon II X4 630/Corsair XMS3 4GB PC10666 DDR3 1333MHz

Ok, I am fairly new to the overclocking business. I just put this new computer together..

I am wanting to OC the cpu from the basic 2.8ghz - I have tried doing research, but I am not really if I understand it completely, and was wondering if any of you all had any input.

I am running a stock fan right now, but have a liquid cooling setup coming in the mail in the next week.

well with stock fans you can't do anything as far as overclocking.

But to start with you are going to want to raise your bus speed in order to get the chips speed up. To prevent the bus speed for overclocking your memory first you have to lower your memory speed.

You slowely bump up the bus until you are unstable, at which point you can raise your voltage just a little bit. I would start with trying to hit 3.4ghz.

Expect to be held back. 1333Mhz generic RAM + 2.8Ghz locked processor (similar to 1055T) can and will limit your CPU overclock, due to both the RAM multiplier options you get with higher bus clocks and the fact that generic memory shouldn't ever be expected to overclock well. Should've invested in the better memory!
