Complex setup is complex.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Do you want it to be really effective and efficient? or just do you want it to be new and different?

Cool theory, but I'm not sure it would work. The oil's temp will rise faster than the water can cool it.

I'm also working on a oil cooled PC, so I'm interested. My idea is to run the oil through a modified water cooler...I can get them dirt cheap and it has the desired effect of cooling the oil.

With my oil PC, I'm currently pumping my oil through a heater core that is submerged itself in a cooler filled with water. The cooler, in turn, is chilled by a TEC. Ice blocks can be thrown in for funzies.
