Best PSU for up to $109 Preferably under $100, ultra is sending me a replacement PSU but I'd rather just use it as a backup and eat 100 bucks for a new one. I was looking at.

I was looking at that... I was rather curious as to why there was a V2
I was going to get this one it was 109 after rebates I figured 109 for 100W more of a Seasonic PSU only 10 bucks shoot
http://www.compusa.com/applications/...D&body=REBATES
But the tech support took too long and they sold out.
They have this one for 99 http://www.compusa.com/applications/...868&CatId=2533

The v2 is significantly better.

Original TX was CWT PSH platform and was getting long in the tooth, not keeping up with the competition. TXv2 is a SeaSonic S12-something (haven't seen it on SeaSonic retail, but the OEM ones are SS-***AT), and is a big step up in performance.

The XFX is a SeaSonic M12D (another step up from the TXv2), but you don't need an 850W and it's out of stock there and more expensive elsewhere.

So which is better
http://www.compusa.com/applications/...868&CatId=2533
or
http://www.compusa.com/applications/...?EdpNo=7195038
Although actually the xfx is probably better now I think about it and it's modular.
Would you agree Phaedrus2129?

Corsair TXv2 and XFX Core Edition are the same internally.

XFX Black Edition is a step up.

Ok what I thought the XFX Black Edition 750W is on it's way here.
