Would have bought this Friday..in a heartbeat. Pretty easy to just use Sata 6 ports until fix is out.

Well ASUS already said they would RMA all effected boards no questions asked... as well as resetting your warranty period at the time your replacement is issued. So basically if you get one of these open box mobos and let it sit for a few weeks, you can then just send it in and get a brand new one with full warranty for a cheap price.

Although the P8P67 Pro wasn't that great of a deal for me... since I got mine for $159.99 at MC on release day.

Or... you could order it on Newegg and set your shipping address to their RMA center.

i scored an EVO for $160 shipped and hope it has the accessories like mounting hardware, cables and i/o plate. It would definitely cut into the good deal if i had to order all that too.

Asus goes by serial number for warranty and has said all p67 will be replaced.

Hope it works out.

Well you shouldn't have to worry about mounting hardware because that is usually included with the case rather than the motherboard.

Also the SLI bridge may be missing which is a problem if you plan to SLI because the cards don't come with them. Other than that though the SATA cables shouldn't be that big of a deal, and I believe there was also a PCI 2 port USB 3.0 bracket included with mine and the little Q-connector things for the front panel connections.
