hello,

I would like a suggestion...

What whould i use?

2 x VERTEX 80gb RAID0 or a Revodrive 80gb

The cost will be the same?

Main use for me is for OS (windows 7 64) and Photoshop

Thanks for suggestions, pros and cons for each one i listed!

For that particular usage? neither.

Raid 0 for ssd ends up losing trim.

Revodrive is prety crappy in latency.

So why do you need it really? cause speed is not the reason your not really getting any faster besides sequential and you shouldn't be writing a buttload of data like that to a ssd unless your running a server.

So a fast SSD will not help too much?

My main idea was to speedup the OS (Win 7 64), page file, tmp files and photospho temp directory (usually some efects takes lots and lots of HDD access). and other software that uses HDD too much

Thanks!

I wouldn't get either one of those SSD's, OCZ Sandforce drives now have slower, much fewer write cycles and cheaper 25nm NAND in them now. I would wait and get one of the new Intel SSD's. You can trust Intel and you can clearly not trust OCZ or Sandforce. Intel wouldn't pull a switch that results in slower drives without at least changing the part numbers and publicizing the differences beforehand.
