+1
If you have seen the Crytek engine. It has on the fly conversion from Xbox 360/PS3/PC. It is remarkable!

DX11 Will be in Crysis 2. check some of the Demos of the engine on the nets.

-1 on still not being able to log in.

No, i get the point, but the point is weak. Let the game itself come out before you start screaming that it's a port.

And what did they get rid of exactly from Crysis 1 to Crysis 2? You don't know, you're just assuming b/c Crysis 2 hasn't even come out yet. It's still an FPS about a guy in a nano-suit. It still has amazing graphics.

It was a MFing demo. I didn't like it, I loved it. I was addicted. I'm a pretty objective guy so when someone says they dislike or even hate the game I love, I don't tear them a new one just because their opinion differs from mine. I tear them a new one when their reasoning sounds like complete bulls--t. Its the same thing with Dragon Age 2 right now where people are spamming/trolling 4's on metacritic when it doesn't deserve less than a 7.0 as its WORST score. People are in extreme exaggeration mode right now when it comes to some of these games. It's either the savior of PC gaming or the worst game of all time and the line between the two is apparently a goof up like where it says 'press start'.

What are you looking for exactly? What precisely did you see in the demo that made you feel was below par for them? The graphics were good and slated to get better. The gameplay was tons more fun than Crysis Wars. The options ( dog tags, gun add-ons, unlockable guns, etc ) seems to keep people interested.

I made the right choice after playing the Crysis 2 demo, I would have been pissed to have built a extreme setup just for that game.

We'll see what happens on the 22nd.
And if you look back in this thread you'll find plenty of people who were pissed for this exact reason. Personally I'm happy as hell that I can run this game @ 1080p smoothly without another $300 investment.

I know you're trying to set the record straight but this game is already a pass for me @ $60.
I'll wait until it goes on sale under $30 or is offered free with a video card purchase.

Everyone has the choice to buy a game or not. A person isn't wrong for making either decision.

Missing the point again. Crytek raised the bar with the first Crysis by offering incredible visuals and exploiting newer technology. While yes, the game is beautiful, it is not what people expected. We wanted something that brought our computers to their knees. Not take one step backwards (dx9) and a half step forward (using dx9 beautifully). We wanted a game built for DX11 that raped our computers. Game developers aren't forcing anyone to run their games on the highest settings.

The flip side of that though is why would they do such a thing if such a minimal amount of people would actually get to enjoy the game on its highest settings. This is a valid point, but that is not how Crytek use to think. Thus disappointment.

this game taught me alot about my computer's stability already. i learned just how dependable my overclock was.. ive seen most games until now they would just lack some fps when your computer wasnt tuned right, but this one will completely give you the BSOD which forced me to figure **** out so im down with it. it fits my screen at 1900x 1080 and plays smoothe enough on my WAY out dated gpu's. i give it 2 thumbs up. i love Crysis
as for the comments about the console porting.. i, myself think the graphic look really similar to the first crytek engine. the color depth,.. the shadows are all still next gen. IMO. so maybe the leaves and the foliage has a little bitty bit fewer pixels in them... i dont think the game is all about sitting around staring at grass anyway. anywhere they can get someone like me an extra frame a second theyre doing good. its also saving me about ten degrees in my gpu with every little thing that may be downsized. i think that computer hardware costs way too much and i feel lucky already just to have one that works good enough to run this game. i live on ssi. this is an amazing feat for me. lol
