Some PC fans have been waiting years to get their hands on the sequel to Crysis, 2007's masterful shooter. Just now the multiplayer demo has been released, so you can finally get a taste of what CryEngine 3 has to offer on state of the art hardware.
Nice. I've been playing "some other demo" and it been making me want to try the multiplayer of this "unrelated game". Also, I hope this has DirectX 11 and that it runs well on my PC compared to "random game demo".
The engine supports all both consoles and PC. You make the content once, it just works on all the platforms. No porting required when you use CryEngine 3. I imagine the extent to which platform specific stuff is required is stuff like building your UI to match specific resolutions, supporting keymapping on a keyboard versus a controller, blah blah blah. But that stuff is VERY simple compared to porting an entire game.
With people that have a gtx 460 how does it play on that and at what resolution? Also, this is multiplayer people. I'm pretty sure it won't look as good as Crysis SP.
Not a fan of multiplayer, but I will buy it for the single player. Might play some MP afterwards though.
