Thread Starter
I was going to upgrade my cpu but after many comments I'll wait till the summer to upgrade my cpu, mobo and ram for an i7. So now I have About $250 for an upgrade, what should I upgrade in my sig rig?

SSD hard drive (raid or single)
keyboard, mouse and mouse pad

?????

What do to with $250 cash

You can get another 4870 to crossfire for cheap or sell the 4870 and get a beefier card.

Nothing really, your system looks balanced except the CPU.

If you don't want to upgrade the CPU ATM, I would only get a 64GB SSD for OS and save the rest for the summer where you'll need lots of cash if you want to improve your PC performance.

If I were to get a SSD, can I run games and program from one of the 500GB and the second 500GB for storage? Is there a better brand then an other? Would it be better to get one ssd or raid two ssd?

Yes, but a 64GB should be good for a lot of programs plus a few games.

Are you unsatisfied with the performance you have now? If you are then you can get a Quad and call it a day. Start OCing that thing and be satisfied for awhile. You can get the SSD if you want to install your OS again. I hate doing that so I'm avoiding them for the time being. >.>
