Hi I just rebuilt a PC from an old build I had and some new stuff. I have an AMD Athlon64 3200+, DFI Lanparty UT NF3 250Gb, 2GB G.Skill extreme PC3200, 400W PSU, 500Gb HD and a Radeon HD 4670 GPU. So after installing win xp pro I install the drivers I found for the Mobo from DFI site. I tried the newest version and the one before it. When I try the newest drivers when it tries to install the Ethernet portion the installation crashes. When I try the second newest drivers the whole installation works but I get a bunch of fails and some successes. Prob about a 1/4 of the updates fail. Also this is after activating windows. I also get GPU probs where after installing the drivers and the latest AGP hotfix I can only get about 30 fps in counter strike source. It should get over 80 at all times. I did buy the Mobo from someone in the UK. Could that be causing me probs? Do I need to bios flash. I have no idea what to do anymore. I took it to a local comp store and they said all my hardware is good. Someone please help. I've reinstalled windows 6 times and I cannot get this system going.
