haha...ouch...I was cooking my chip..Alright.

So If I keep lowering, I read that the last series of this chipset was 1.35v so if I can reach that, and the temps still stay high, what's the next steps I should take? I got a pretty good cooler, and airflow. But I suppose I could get more airflow in, and out.

the c2 are 1.40v,the c3 are 1.25v,that 1.55 is the max. safe volts.

dude. you are working too hard.

i get 3.8 on stock volts and with a few tweaks get 4.0 easy.

lower ur voltage.
check airflow.
what type of tim are you using?
w00t!

Ok, you lost me. c2 and C3?

If I'm reading right, I can lower to 1.25v? on the CPU VID voltage?

I don't think you have a very good cooler, I have a 955 which is one clock step below yours at 4ghz at 53c max temps. Start over on your overclock, bring cpu voltage to 1.43 and bring the multiplier up to 18 again, but keep memory and everything else stock. Read things about overclocking, I also think your memory was alittle high at 1.9. Becareful or you will have one very expensive paper weight.

To be honest, I am sorta going off the AMD overdrives Extreme OC for its basic entry level OC. Then I've adjusted the Voltage. Like I said, I'm a complete noob at OC so I'm still learning. Which is why everything is getting changed in small...tiny bits.

I'm guessing your looking for Memory timing right?

you can get stable at 3.8 with 1.40v or up to 1.45 easy,it's when you make that 4.0 jump it takes some volts though.

this will help too:http://www.techreaction.net/2010/10/...locking-guide/

I've read alot, but I have issues grasping alot of the concepts. I learn faster with hands on. More so cause alot of text hurts my eyes. So reading the walls of text are a task instead of enjoyable. I'll read again though! I really wanna master this.
