it only has 4 classes. But many skill trees for each class.

I'm almost certain that you are not talking about the same game that we are.

My 580s in SLI can barely handle everything absolutely jacked up the whole way, if that gives you an idea.

Really, it looks great.

I have everything jacked up to max on my single 5870 and it plays fine until 50 people show up at a rift.

lol, I find that pretty hard to believe. What is your resolution set to? Are you actually turning on AA/AF? Because the "Ultra" pre-setting in the graphics menu is not even close to as high as you can set everything. My 580s can handle it. One single 580 couldn't, though. Not comfortably, anyway.

All of the friends I play with have cards much faster than a 5870 and CPUs much faster than a Q9950 (stock??) and none of them can turn it all up the whole way without a serious blow to FPS.

So if you got some crazy secret for the rest of the world to know, then please, we'd like to hear it .

The game looks great, however you will need the hardware to run everything maxed out. They did a poor job in optimizing (in all honesty). Sometimes the graphics remind me of Lineage 2, but not really.

I would suggest you check it out, but it's just another MMO (quest, dungeons, battlegrounds, etc.)

the secret is to not run with AA on. Currently in game AA is using super sampling. So it kills FPS.

I have it set to custom, sliders all maxed, with all shadows. 1080p res.

So the secret to running the game with all settings maxed on an older card is "don't max all settings."

Gotcha.

You you are not really maxed out. My friend with a 920 at 4.2ghz and twin gtx 470s can't max it out.

yes, a 5870 is an "older card"

honestly if you are trying to pull that card, then unless you are running 32x AA on your nvidia cards then you arent maxing it out.

Some people are clueless.

I have every setting maxed out.
