GTX 560 > 6870 (benches)

So by logical reasoning, one of your statements is false.

Edit: OP, I recently sold my 5770 and upgraded to my 560, couldn't be happier with it.

2 560's cost 2x more than 2 5770's and performs twice as good if not better.

Wasting your money on an old, dated card(s) doesn't get you very far.

Also, none of the benches I looked at were comparing the Gigabyte 1ghz 560.

The OP already HAS one 5770.
It would be very cost effective to just drop another one in, as they are easily had for around $100.
I'm sure the 560 is a great card, but trying to sell the old 5770 for a decent price and THEN getting even more money together for the 560 would be a hassle, at least to me it would.
I say go for the Xfire. Mine is working well in BC2 with everything maxed @ 1680x1050.
Best $100 upgrade I ever got.
