Do...want...laptop...

Those are all Zacate/Brazos which are low end and netbooks using a 6250. This is Llano which uses a 6650.

Just wonder if we will see laptops anytime soon or if they will only launch desktop models in Q2

Don't know yet. Not sure if turbo is in effect on the chips either.

Far from legitimate benchmark results but it brings hope

might be higher might be less, but in the end, it was running less wattage and outperforming the i7

ya if it was clocked higher and still used less power, then its still a fair game in the mobile cpu world.

I'm excited to see what fusion becomes over its lifespan. I bought a HP DM1Z last month when they came out. I paid right around $400 shipped. For netbook price and form factor, it has none of the crappy performance associated with them. It's snappy and responsive, and as far as video it's always smooth and plays anything I throw at it. Even handles flash games, though not nearly as well as most midrange laptops. A fair trade for 6-7 hour battery life? It even plays older games like HL2 at reasonable settings with 30-40fps.

Perhaps the best part is I can leave it on constantly:
Kill-a-watt says it pulls ~15 watts at idle (screen on) and ~55 at full load.
