List of Games that DO NOT Support SLI / Crossfire - Page 2

I remember having issues with Just Cause 2. SLI works for some but I couldn't get it working (tried lots of drivers) on SLI 260....

Works without a hitch for me, Never heard anyone complain about it not working.

Did you look at usage and make your FPS cap higher through .cfg? Usage would indicate if its working, highering the FPS cap would make you see the difference.

when i crossfired them together, i got a performace boost, showing about 41 fps. though for some reason, it shows 3 gpu's available in crossfire detection, instead of the 4 it showed when ihad both 4850's installed.

when i tried the 4870 solo, i got a bigger performance boost, 51 fps.

How is it that crossfire has given me a 10 fps cut in performance from the solo 4870? I am not expecting massive gains, but a couple fps MORE would be expected!!! not a performance loss.

I'll start with games that have NOT worked on both crossfire 5870s and SLI 580s.

-Global Agenda and most UE3 Engine Games (Including APB)
-WoW and most MMOs (Please note as of December 2010 people are claiming it works in WoW, have not seen proof)
-ARMA Series
-Grand Theft Auto 4
-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Fixed with driver updates / early reports were wrong.

Global Agenda works fine in Crossfire.

Thread taken from. That was from running my sigrig (though on an old monitor at 1440x900), with Crossfire enabled (I have the icon switched off when playing Global Agenda as it gets in the way of the HUD), and FPS smoothing turned off (FPS smoothing caps your FPS).

Pretty sure there's a Crossfire profile for Global Agenda from ATi aswell.

Also I think the "most UE3 games" statement is unfounded.

league of legends is not sli/cf compatable

however, there was an sli patch for league of legends.... but i notice no frame improvements because the game is heavily dependant on CPU... plus my i7 likes to keep constant 120fps =)

, a 9600gs with a core i5@3.6ghz will net you full 60fps

Been playing both games for months (GTA4 for years) and I haven't seen a single situation where multi-GPU gives a performance increase.

In fact, in ARMA 2 on both the 5870s AND 580s I saw a benchmark decrease in FPS from 25-30 to 23-28 with multi-GPU on.. It also presented many bugs (such as ~5 FPS when in cockpit as opposed to the normal 30+)

Nvidia has added profile support for both Arma 2 and Arma 2:OA. I was able to set the profile in the Nvidia control panel, and saw an increase of in game FPS. Fraps and EVGA precision were used to monitor FPS, and in game benchmarks confirmed an increase in FPS. The only thing is, they're barely playable FPS with high settings. That game is so dinky, but I love it.
