I'll start with games that have NOT worked on both crossfire 5870s and SLI 580s.

-Global Agenda and most UE3 Engine Games (Including APB)
-WoW and most MMOs (Please note as of December 2010 people are claiming it works in WoW, have not seen proof)
-ARMA Series
-Grand Theft Auto 4
-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Fixed with driver updates / early reports were wrong.

GTAIV...really REALLY should support crossfire. Although, I have 2 1GB 5870s in crossfire and when i start GTAIV it says I have 2GB of video memory instead of 1GB....and it doesnt stutter...so thats good:)

Have to agree with you on the Crossfire part there Raven Dizzle.

I've seen it with my own eyes and it works. The rig had 2x5770 running in Crossfire and it worked just peachy

EDIT: And according to this link GTA IV should also support SLI.

WoW does support SLi/Crossfire. The problem with it though is that WoW is a VERY cpu limited game so most single cards will be able to max beyond the limit of most CPUs so having the second card running AFR doesn't change the fact that the amount of frames rendered becomes limited by the cpu bandwidth.

Just tested GTA4 and in the benchmark I only saw a 5 fps gain but in actual gameplay the average fps is about 70% better.

WoW supports CrossfireX. Although the two cards usually works at 40 ~ 60%, I get about 50% extra performance compared to using a single card.

WoW deferentially support Crossfire. I get about 50-60 % extra FPS, even on my else pretty low resolution monitor. But think you should make independent list for SLI and Crossfire, as SLI supports more games. Warcraft III for example can't start at all with Crossfire, but should work with SLI.
And just for the side note, that Mafia II scales negatively with Crossfire (at least with my cards).

support both man, SLi and Crossfire.. the later one was a little more annoying to make it work sometimes, but thats a thing of the past now

1 more thing.. arma 2 is everything-bottlenecked, specially Hard Disk read/load related, second CPU and then video..
