Got a problem.

Need some help again.

Well I've got a HDD with a Vista OS on it and now I just want to use that HDD for extra storage in a different computer that's on Windows 7.

What do I have to do this? Take the Vista hard drive stick it in the W7 PC boot up and format?

Pretty much yes, If you dont have any files on it needed and the PC you're taking it from doesnt use Vista, Remove it, and Format it on the other PC, assuming you have a boot disk for the PC you are removing it from.

Edit: Also, Make sure you set it as a Secondary Boot device otherwise your system will boot up Vista.
