pretend you wanna buy it and scam her

Wow... only 330? Not bad at all. I was expecting way more then that.

I always tell a friend or family member and give them the buyers number in case of an emergency. The only time I ever declined to meet up with someone was when they asked me to drive into a bad part of town and meet near an alley with my MacBook at 12am. I told him I'll be there as soon as I can with my Mac with some cash in case if he needs any change.

There was a story that made the news here awhile back regarding craigslist. Guess a woman was trying to sell a car through the list and two men came by and looked at the vehicle but didn't buy.

Later that day the woman left her house to run errands and when she returned her house had been burglarized. They eventually caught the two men, but the woman identified the men as the same guys that came and looked at the car off craigslist.

I always meet at a public area to divert adversaries or the feds. Last time the buyer and I were dressed in a suit with black shades and met at Starbucks 3PM sharp, with my item inside a black briefcase, and his cash inside a silver briefcase. We walked cautiously to one another, scoping the scene for possible back up, meeting 15 feet apart. Placed our briefcase on the ground opened, verified the contents of each, closed them and simultaneously slid our briefcase to the other. Then walked away. Like a boss.

I hear ya. Happens almost all the time. "so... whats the best price? " Or after you sort out all the details, condition, address, meeting time, asks you about the item, THEN the guy starts talking about price and low balls you lol.. the worst people are the ones who lie and say how it is not going to sell and they've been watching "..." for months and seeing them not sell. Two days later someone buys for your asking price =] Afterwards, lowballer calls you back and you tell him its sold

I've bought and sold quite a few things on craigslist and never had any problems. I always have my Glock 30 on me though too.

+1

The AIM group? Please, do something useful with your time. IMO they made themselves look like morons...just over 300 in 10+ years... Ugh.

Don't WU money to Nigeria, or meet 36-24-36 blonds claiming they're ready to do free favors for you in dark alleys, and you'll be fine. IOW, use a little common sense.
