And they are all AMD users.

There is always an excuse to why AMD performs poorly but when Intel doesn't perform, it's because AMD has a superior processor.

False. Double false.

It really isn't biased at all. (At least, the Starcraft II results aren't.)
I've seen firsthand the performance difference between Intel and AMD in SC2.
With that being said, it really isn't like AMD processors aren't capable of playable framerates in SC2 though.

I'm an AMD user yes but the past year I have been on Intel.

AMD performs just fine against my previous Intel systems (in sig). Didn't need the extra power Intel offers for other applications... and I was broke xD

The 2500k would easily take the cake if they considered the microcenter price of 199.99 ;p
post #37 of 68
unfair comparison.
1st of all, CAN ANY OF THOSE SB MODELS OC? i think not.
2nd, none of those AMD CPUs are OC'd. im sure with the advantage of several more Mhz it can stand better against SB.
3rd, its a comparison of old tech to new tech.

either way, it shows the weakness of AMD's reused K8 based arch and needs to step up to di times!
cmon BD, HURRY UP!

1. Most people don't overclock, this review shows what kind of performance you can get under $200 at stock clocks. If you were an overclocker you would be a complete idiot not to spend a little extra for the i5-2500k. AMD would still be a bad choice.

2. Read #1.

3. Its a comparison on what has already been released.

This review isn't biased, stop getting mad.

Just an FYI you CAN oc a 2400 to 3.6-3.8 depending on the number of threads used...
