Ok, it might be true, but it's ridiculous to trust this for now IMO.
Why? it's not like they're comparing it to AMD cards and saying Nvidia cards are better. I think by looking at those charts you can pretty much predict how the AMD cards will do.

I guess you also missed the part where trusting marketing material from a company is a bad idea. They wouldn't blow the results completely off the grid, but you can definitely expect their benchmarks involved some minor optimizations/tweaks/settings to make their products look better. Independent benchmarks should be consulted for a more accurate result.

well you'd expect so, thats why it looks like decent FPS, the 8xxx are dx9, the 2xx, dx10 and the 4+5xx dx11.

Again...What marketing material?

Do these tests show their GPUs producing above normal results? are they comparing them to AMD cards?

I'm not trying to start something here but, It just doesn't make any sense.

I would understand if they were comparing them to AMD cards, but that's clearly not the case.

Atleast my 8800GT is dx10 friendly.

How does anti-aliasing work here? Is it on or off in gamer mode?

Here:

Furthermore, Crysis 2 applies a form of shader-based anti-aliasing on all three modes that smoothes out jagged lines far better than prior approaches, without additional unwanted blurring.

I didn't say they weren't right, I said that a site called Geforce.com is likely about as unbiased as a liberalist discussing the advantages of communism.
Without an unbiased review, there is no way to know if these are true. Chances are they aren't.

And there's no need for AMD scores. These scores are likely exaggerated and that's a fact whether or not they've tested AMD cards.

No, one cannot predict how AMD cards perform because an engine can easily be biased (COH and FC2 anyone?) and again, this review might be biased towards NVIDIA.

TL;DR:
This review is not a good source in and of itself. If other reviews confirm these scores then it's all good and one can then use this to compare NVIDIA cards (this is probably the only review that'll ever test the 8800 GT in this game), but for now, I'd not conclude anything based on this.

This game is maxed too easily, mainly for the reason it is optimized, so no complaining.
