Please.

Crysis 2 is a great example that a great looking game and be optimized
This. So sick of people wishing games wouldn't run on their rigs.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. That is just how it is. Crytek were being criticized by the public for releasing the best looking game [Crysis] ever made that would take years to max out while running at optimum frame rates; they wanted to future proof it. Now that they release a demo that actually looks better than it's predecessor's MP, yet falls behind its Singleplayer, Crytek is still getting flak.

i can see that C2 will more follow the part of COD game play...no more non linear much then C1.the game itself i will suspect crytek probably not to include /enchance the graphic side already, because i see they lazy or port from console...even PS3 "KillZone 3" much better in term of quality graphic in scene.(i really hate ps3 games overall much better if only compare to C2)

i will say shame to crytek, and why not include advance user adjustable level of graphic like C1? make us like noobs who paying so much to upgrade the pc...ok hope is because is DEMO.(hope so)

the game itself i can see minor optimize the fps, because i tell u why:
1)so much more rectangle building environment=less polygon it can rendering in the scene=more fps
2)less physic moving object,like tress=less cpu/gpu usage=more fps
3)watering down the shadow(no good SSAO) & water waves + less object in deep water=more fps
4)no more 3d birds flying around & other living things(u will notice it)=more fps
5)not so so destructible house & trees=less moving physic object(plain 3d) =more fps

OK,that's it, so i will say "Can it run anything console Crysis 2?"

That is tailored for the multiplayer. Do you care about 3d birds or destructible objects in multiplayer? i'm focused on killing the enemy, so not really.

Its also only in DX9 for the beta, DX11 (tessellation will fix some of your blockiness issues) its going to look much better in multiplayer AND single-player (which is where they do put all the graphical goodness)

Playing the MP demo at the moment. Granted I do have a pretty good system but I was able to play on Hardcore Mode, 1600x1200 and stream 30fps video without too much hitch. Slows the game down a little but otherwise it's very playable with a single 580.

Looks like my SLI 260's will be getting a decent workout, but excited to see how it looks.

That's stupid about the graphics settings though. I mean for goodness sake how much effort does it take to give gamers more hands on controls? O_o

OMG, its a DEMO! What did you expect?
I'm going to go back to my enjoyment of pwning countless nubs while you sulk over lack of graphics control in a demo.....

I'm getting way too many FPS in Hardcore after setting the new SLI profile If your SLI GPU usage is low here are links:

SLI Profile changer tool, can back up your old ones in case.

SLI Profiles from 267.05, including Crysis2 and Bulletstorm etc.

Using 266.77 drivers with 267.05 profiles works well. Had to add the Crysis2.exe manually, it wouldn't detect it as installed automatically.
