Question about HD6850 and PCIe 1.1 motherboard

Thread Starter
Does ATI HD6850 work on old motherboards that use PCIe 1.1 like Intel DP35DP ?

I have heard that there are issues with PCIe 2.1 cards on PCIe 1.1 motherboard slots. Is this true ?

Yes. It works in older boards as I have used one in a P5QPL-AM which is PCIE v1 and it worked without any issues.
