Here's my new system specs:-

CPU 3.2 GHz PowerPC Tri-Core Xenon
Memory 512 MB of GDDR3 RAM clocked at 700 MHz
Graphics 500 MHz ATI Xenos

Will it run Crysis 2 ok?

Lol I joke, i'd rather give up the use of opposable thumbs than try an Eggbox tree siggedy

What's that I hear Crytek? Wait till Steam sales? Roger that.
I liked the multiplayer, but Homefront has my interest at the moment.

I think we're the ones to blame. We hyped it up so much and were expecting quite a lot from CryTek.

For those who are saying it's a console port: it isn't. When a company goes out of the way to say it isn't, you know they're telling you the truth or trying to lose the whole fan base.

I think it's still a good game, but it won't give PC gaming the change Crysis 1 did.

I don't even know where to start for this one...

The graphics aren't nearly as good as I thought they were going to be. It looks like a console game. But I won't judge that until the full game comes out. Moving on,
The HUD and UI are extremely consolized and very annoying. The HUD is a space hog, and it's kind of annoying to look at.
The actual gameplay is alright, but I don't really feel like it's anything special because the graphics are just alright. So it's just a generic shooter. There is very little recoil on the guns, not to mention aim-assist.
And I forgot to mention the graphics options. Oh wait, no I didn't. There is next to none. It literally has 4 options you can change for your graphics. That is it. Pathetic. :/

I really hope Crysis 2 isn't as big of a let down as this demo was. They need to get their **** together and not just port over the whole game. :/

Seriously though (that is what I voted), I'd have to actually try the demo out to be able to properly analyze the situation at hand. If its as bad as you claim it to be Phaedrus, I can promise I certainly won't buy it. I was psyched about Crysis 2 because it was supposed to live up to Crysis 1's standards...but better. If its just a blatant console port, I'll pass. I might buy it when its $2 on Steam in a year or two though.

I have two words to conclude my Crysis 2 experience:

F*** Crytek.

Great job on Crysis 1. Great job on Crysis Warhead/Wars. Shame on you for Crysis 2. I probably won't even turn my head to Crysis 3. I've just cancelled my pre-order from Play.com for Crysis 2. It was only £26.99 but hey, it's worth less than half of that...

Why is everyone so disappointed in a DEMO? It doesn't even let you adjust the graphics much and DX11 isn't even available. So when it releases it should be way better once we can adjust everything.

Unfortunately for this game, this is only one in many things that put me off entirely. The console-kiddy feel, graphics, physics and controls absolutely destroy the "game" for me.

F*** me, I've never found throwing a grenade in a game so hard. I can't throw it to save my life!
The laws of physics just don't apply to Crysis 2 grenades.
