I just need some opinions here fellas. Is 1.075-1.1v too much for SLI just to get to 1ghz?

If I'm not mistaken that would add roughly 30-45w extra per card, which doesn't seem worth it.

There's no way you're going to even get close to tapping out that PSU w/those cards so if your concern about raising volts is based on that ... worry no more.

Yes, sometimes lowering memory clocks will allow the Core to OC higher on Fermi's. Yes, this has changed since earlier cards, it didn't used to matter really, now sometimes it can. Dunno why, only that it is. However, with only a 256-bit bus, the memory OC has some value on those cards, esp. when the core is OC'd. I wouldn't sacrifice too much mem OC just to get a few more MHz out of the core, personally.

I'm never a big fan though of pushing volts really high just to eek out a few extra MHz. Maybe for one-off benches, but never for 24/7. That's why you see my clocks in my sig as they are, instead of 850c at 1.1V ... which my cards will do ... but I won't. Not for normal use ... it ain't worth it for a few extra FPS that I can't see without looking at results from a benchmark.
