i just got it thursday from frys in Austin by having them price match microcenter. they pm the price plus 17 dollars shipping so it was about 252 out the door.

my cosmos s with the windowed side panel and 3 bay mounted 120mm fans was not keeping my 480s cool under games like JC2 and a minute of kombustor put them at 101 or so.

i personally like the looks because they are asymetrical and utilitarian and i love the drive bays. cable management is probably the best of any case ever made. even my 1000w ss strider with the stiff, ugly cables manages to look good in this case.

i like just a little red lighting in a case - just a little and preferably indirect. the LED fan lights look kinda cheap and you have to hit the button twice to get red, and worse, sbout 5 times to get the lights off. I keep them off so as to not entice my 2yr old any more yhan necessary. also, the drive indicator light is ridiculously bright and the fairing / shroud that covers the handle seems to pull up in the front, but this stuff is minor.

if you like the looks and have the money, i recommend this case.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Appearance is a matter of taste and I like the looks just fine.

i am seriously considering replacing the side fan with something a bit more powerful.

also, the drive rack seems to not connect and see the drive occasionally.

i am also wondering if I could turn the lighting button into the power button.

also, the ss strider 1000w went into thermal shutdown after less than 2 minutes of furmark. would it be better for it to run fan up compared to fan down, drawing air through the filter in the bottom? hmm.

Yes it will.. if the door fan its weak AND the PSU fan its facing upwards.. then you have the answer, not enough airflow

Strange - I've have the PSU fan pointing down, and the "shutters" on the side fan pointed towards my video card. Never had any type of temp issues at all. However, I had the drive rack issue, but I just reseated the HDDs, and haven't had any issues since.

For the TC - great choice - enjoy the case!

Don't listen to these people Who say this case sucks. This case is loaded with cool stuff.
one of the most well thought out cases.

Its trendy not to like this case!

I hated it at first, but it is Growing on me.

Its Change, People hate change. Also it falls in a new catagory.
Theres like 2 differnt spectrums to cases.

on one side you got the non flashy box people i.e. Lian Li, Silverstone, ECT

on the other side you got the military Styles, CM Haf, Antec, ECT

The L10GT falls under a new catagory... What to call it IDK Artsy, Art Deco, W/E you want.
Thing is, this case has some really cool features. The door is wireless, Hot Swap drives are the best around IMHO, Go For it if you like it. I'm very close to deciding to get one, as it is in my top 5, along with TJ07, fd MIDI Tower, RV03, ect...

I love the original Lvl 10, but the cooling is horrible. The GT, for $400 less gets 10c cooler HDDs and CPUs as well as 30c cooler chipset temps. I buy my cases 50% on looks and 50% on cooling. The GT was a no-brainer in this one.
