Bulletstorm does utilize 3.5 but not in it's entire as of yet once things get finalized this year we'll be seeing games fully utilizing 3.5.

Bulletstorm will more then likely take the route UT3 did, use the basics and with each patch enabled hidden features within the engine.

The engine isn't even done yet, Bulletstorm doesn't use THIS version of UE3.....

I am an avid member of the Epic Games forums, and the developers are trying as hard as they can, to spread the message that no game utilizes this technology yet, not even Bulletstorm.........

it uses it just not in it's entire, as Epic Games is pretty well known to release a functional but bare Unreal Engine and add more to it in parts till they see fit that it is the entire product for the use of that time. there should be patches enabling hidden functions aswell adding functions without the neccessary need of rebuilding the game and reselling which epic games have done in the past with UT3.

Physx for example was experimental in UT3 but was still a hidden feature within the engine(GoW didn't have Physx it wasn't around at that time)which they enabled for everyone to see with a few maps that utilized the experimental PhysX, they wanted to figure out what they could do with Physx within UE3 but it was later dropped and left as is until now when they introduced full PhysX within the engine. soo this doesn't exactly surprise me.

Epic Games enjoys releasing Hidden Features(future release of advancement within the engine) with there games sure the console versions lose this part of this but the PC users will eventually get the DirectX 11 and other functions accessable in the future in Bulletstorm and other games that'll be coming out in the future.

i've been a avid Member aswell but they tend to release the tech EVEN THO they say it's not part of it yet manages to pop up in 1 matter or another(i.e physx in UT3)
