800 dollar gaming build. Comments/Suggestions/Help - Page 2

Doesn't look like a very good case - not for the colour, but for interior layout/features. $70 is just too much.
I'd take this combo over that in a heartbeat, super-win case with super-win PSU and a good combo discount

Get F3 500GB on Superbiiz and save $5

I'm building this for my girlfriend. She's really set on that hideous case.

If there will be a problem fitting all of the components in then I understand and will change it... but she really likes that case.

2. Buy can of green paint

lol face it... you are getting that case. But its ok now that you have something out of the way that is definite and you can already knock off the cash spent on it. I built mine doing that. Wife wanted the monitor, so I knocked that off the price, I wanted the 600T, another thing down. Then I played with the build until I thought it was the best I could get for my money invested. Take xds advice on RAM, you won't be sorry. Him and RabbitGT helped me make a few decisions. But remember it's your build, go with your gut.... when in doubt pick three things and let the g/f decide. I had about 6 builds I could have done. Also its going to be for her.... ask her what she wants... find similiar mobos in different color schemes with RAM to match and ask her which colors she likes the best. If you let her get involved with the build she may enjoy it enough to let you upgrade yours some more so she can see what you are doing. My wife tried to ignore me the entire time until the parts came in. Then she wanted to know what everything was and what it did in the computer. Now she thinks I'm insane for wanting to sleeve it.

Hah, yeah, she's stuck on this case. The greener and the gaudier the better.

I'm just worried about everything fitting, especially the graphics card. I can't find any measurements on the Newegg page.

from what I can find the card is about 10 inches long.... it should fit in the case because the case says up to 11 to 12 inches for the mobo. If not buy a dremel and have some fun :
