AMD Hammerdead 790FX/BE600?

Well I picked up this motherboard from a tech friendly friend. The problem is I can't find any information about this thing, I'm not very good with computer parts and this is my first build. He did manage to tell me it's a AMD Hammerhead (google comes up with null, very little when I add F90FX) told me it's AM2+ compatible with ddr2 ram. This is about as much as I know.

Heres the board, right where the cpu goes its engraved 'socket am2' not 'socket am2+' but bios updates have been made on some boards so that they can support am2+'s right?

Heres some particularly interesting information on a sticker on the underside of the board.

Can someone please tell me the exact name of this and if it does indeed in fact support AM2+ processors because if it doesn't I'm not going to be a happy camper.

This is an engineering sample motherboard from AMD themselves!

I don't think they released any BIOS updates for AM2+ support on this, because they probably only made very few of these boards

Hmm, well this is sort of both exciting and disappointing at the same time lol.

Well I know it was used beforehand by the friend, his dad works for a branch of AMD I believe this is how he got a hold of it. I'll guess I'll just run it pass him tomorrow and figure this out.
