Clarification on my "crysis1 vs crysi2" thread

Thread Starter
Those shots did not come from the internet and were all taken from my own computer a few hours ago, including the crysis 2 shots. I used fraps and just took as many screen shots as I could in a short amount of time on the maps I wanted to compare. Yes I modded my crysis, and yes it is modded very heavily, I used the rygel's texture pack and I also used plompi's TOD that is it. And I get pretty much the same frame rate as I do with crysis on very high settings. Sorry it was just annoying that people were telling me I got shots off the net that were messed around with on 3rd party software (besides the mods I used).

The real question is why compare non-vanilla Sp to the multiplayer demo? You should compare vanilla crysis wars to the demo for a more accurate and representative comparison. Duh.

Conclusion: Crysis 2 graphics are under expectations. Obviously, consoles took most of the development effort.

Packaging Crysis to run on a 360 is a impressive accomplishment. Unfortunately, everybody feels that Crysis belongs to PC and not to console. Hence, the PC version should merit an impressive accomplishment, not the other way around.

Hopefully, with 60Hz, high resolution and lots of AA, the game will manage to create a few jaw-dropping moments that will recomfort us, as abandoned PC owners wondering why our PC is 16x more powerful than a 360.
