Hooking up 12+ fans - still need some info

Thread Starter
I will eventually have 12+ fans in my system and I'm still working out connecting them all up in a controllable fashion. It will be 4 fans push/pull on a 240mm radiator, as well as 6 fans push/pull on a 360mm radiator, then a few case fans as well. I'm looking at the 6 fan Sunbeam Multi Fan Power Port as an option - but I'm wondering if anyone makes a rheostat for 4-pin molex to have between the fan power input and the 4-pin molex from the PSU. I at least would want 7v / 12v /off options, or a rheostat with adjustable voltage.

Alternatively I can figure out getting wiring to use a fan controller or the Fan-Atic controller from Lamptron. Does anyone have suggestions on controlling that many fans (and in the case of the radiator fans - controlling all 4 or 6 at once on a per radiator basis)?

Thanks for any info!!!!!

You can connect your rad and case fans with splitters, using a t-balancer(s) and you'll also need to know the total power draw for each fan cluster. I would go with the Lamptron FAN-ATIC instead of Sunbeam.

Check out Sidewinder - http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/fancontrollers.html

Move or post this in the water cooling section, you'll probably get the answer right away
