[Youtube]Crysis 2 - The First Hack! - Page 7

That is my point, the CS:S hackers are still there, we catch about 20-30 a day across all of our community servers. The hacks have just gotten harder to notice.

Its not that the guns dont have recoil that makes me call hacks, its the fact that im an experienced admin on several competative FPS game servers with plenty of experience when it comes to catching hackers. I know the difference between no recoil and an aimbot, I know the difference between when a human controls the shooting and aiming and when it is controlled/assisted by software.

Often you can see the players own attempts at aiming, fighting the software for control, if you know what to look for - its very obvious, and its very similar on every FPS game ive played.

Don't forget the wallers, they are the real sneaky ones. I can always spot a waller, I've even had to spot colored models and (OGC?) the aimbots that use them. I had one dude tell me that it's impossible to have an aimbot use colored models. He was also apparently an admin for years, this wasn't CS it was UrT. The same rules apply though, put colored models on and make a program register bright yellow.... Ugh, anyways! I will agree they are getting much sneakier at using the hacks.

It's called shooting through walls, because as much as it may surprise you, walls aren't impenetrable. >_> I've had many kills through walls.

I knew I saw some1 running around like a maniac. He had his sights up but was still able to move lightening quick. I escaped by dropping down the elevator shaft on skyline and caught him on the way down when he tried following me

Its sad to see people already hacking and cheating during a DEMO!

I can confirm that these hacks are out in the public servers... I got killed by the mass-teleport hack... the guy in the server had 25 kills within the first minute of gameplay... I can deal with a wallhack/aimbot here and there, but you are going to teleport me accross the map and then shoot me in the head, ***??? lol :/

Maybe i wait till this hits the bargain bucket.

I'm guessing people have found ways to create their own servers and enable the cvars. That or they are doing simple cvar patches, that'd be wicked funny cause I'm sure they aren't releasing anything to patch it.

Cuz it's true.. There are cheating already there now. Good thing i pick my servers carefully so i wouldn't deal with them. I hope we'll have a better program to stop it. Seriously.. what's the point in cheating multiplayer? Single Player i totally understand the pure of pleasure to dominate but multiplayer? Come on.. it takes skill and reflexes, stop taking away the game? Especially every fps? Jeez i wanna find the fella who made these in every different hack and break his fingers and throw his tower down the street and spit on it. This is war! I'm gonna see a friend to make a program to crash and burn cheaters. Enough is enough eh?

Imo the hacker who made this exploit does not deserve our attention. OCN really should start being proactive about closing threads like these as they violate the TOS and upset alot of honest game players.
