In search of mythical psu

Thread Starter
I am looking for a modular 900+ watt psu that is less than 160mm in length. Does such a psu exist?

I currently have the silverstone unit in my sig but it is not modular and has pins that are very hard to remove for sleeving.

Thanks in advance.

now my question is why in the world do you think you need 900+ watts. You are only running a single 480. You need at most a good 650 or 700 watt PSU.

They're not huge but they're not <160mm either... The 850W variant is 180mm, I doubt the 1000W variant is any smaller.

The Enermax Modu87+ 900W is allegedly just under 160mm deep (according to the specs on Newegg), but according to the review on pcper.com, it's actually 170mm. So I dunno.

I just looked at a bunch of good PSUs in the 900+ range, and honestly, none are the right size. The Corsair TX950 is definitely fine, but it's obviously not modular.
