Interesting OC session with my 2500K

Thread Starter
Hey, guys, recieved my CPU a few days ago a spent some time OC'ing. Found the results pretty good, but my temp don't live with my expectations.. The thing is, it gets pretty warm in summer time here, so i want my CPU to be ready for those changes. May be u can advise me to change some other settings to make it generate less heat? thanks..

The scrrenshots appeared to be in low quality but for general understanding i've ran 1hr blend and 1hr Small FFTS with 1.335 vCore (in BIOS and 1,32 vCore in CPU-z) with no problems, but my temp for the hottest core is 75C!

Temps are hot for prime95, if it hit 75° there if you were to run something like LinX or try folding on that at 100% load you would be up closer to 85 or 90°.
Better cooling may be in order to go further...

Those temps sound about right for that voltage on that cooler. You can upgrade it or get watercooling if you want to go any higher.

You need a better cooler. Also make sure your case has good airflow coming in, and make sure your cables are neat and managed.
