Again, the biggest part of the problem here is Crysis 2 is a DIRECT CONSOLE PORT, and the fact that Crytek flat out LIED TO US PC gamers.
I'm tired of this misconception. Just because you're glorious PC does not get special features over the console version does not make it a console port. A console port is when you take a console game and simply convert the code into working PC code. Most console ports are done crapily.
The way the cryengine 3 works, is that all the levels are built on PC, in the engine. When the level is ready, the engine then converts the level into PS3 code, Xbox code and PC code. It's not xbox code swapped into PC code. It's simply not a port.
That being said, the MP sucks. The graphics in MP are fail. However, single player graphics are pretty sweet.
As far as multiplayer goes, theres room for improvement. The graphics could be better. They probably gimped the textures and many effects for the sake of file size. Because the demo is only 1.6gb. The cinematic mod for half-life 2 is like 20gb.
Also, theres a disclaimer on the login screen in the demo, stating that "this demo is for evaluation purposes only and is not necessarily representative of the final features and quality of the software"
This tells me crytek wanted to get the multiplayer demo out in as little file size as possible simply because it's more convenient for the masses. They just want as many people as possible to be able to download and play the game.
BTW, for those of you trying to create an account to play the crysis demo. Neither a mycrysis.com nor gamespy account will work. You have to create the account in game.
