Need a PCI wireless networking card.

Thread Starter
I'm building a computer for my sister that will be used just for browsing the internet.

Intel P4 2.8GHz S478
2GB RAM
Windows 7 x86

Will this Rosewill RNX-N250PC wireless card work well for this application? It will be connecting to an ISP provided DSL modem/gateway.

Yes, that would do a fine job, I use use a Realtek RTL8185 as my wireless, can support up to 100mb/s.

Anything should work for light use.

I bought one of these for my HTPC and it bumped the transfer rate from G about 2x (~4-5 MB/sec from LAN clients to the HTPC).
