Speaking of BF, not BC or BC2, I consider those a different branch of game, because really, its is.

64 players ftw.

Battlefield games is something that gamers simply don't want by and large, except for a few nerds, no - one likes to have to drive on some truck for 10 miles just to find where the enemy is hiding.

Small maps, fast action is always the key to a succesful fps,
and COD isn't the first game to use this principle, it was succesfully implemented before
in games like Quake, UT and CS.

Dice has to understand: people just want to shoot the opponent, not waist time repairing some tank and driving some stupid vehicles, maybe then their games won't fail as much.

Do you think Counter Strike would become the most played game in the world if DeDust was 10 miles long and you had to drive a truck to get to a bombsite? I don't think so.

Obvious troll here. BF2 and BC2 were VERY successful titles and are still played heavily. Just because you have bad taste in games doesn't mean the rest of us do.

There are MILLIONS of people who are aching to play BF3.

And this ^

CoD =/= BF
One is made to be epic the other is made to make cash, and nothing more.
I wish that lame CoD series would have died after CoD 4.

+1

And I am one of those people.

The BF series is about teamwork. Team strategy and tactics. I don't see the same cooperation in any of the COD games. I have COD4, World at War, and now Black Ops. They are fun for a LAN game, or a quick fix... but that's about it. They get boring very fast.

The body movement in the game is AMAZING! It actually is a person running and not sliding. Love the body physics.

I don't really care if the Single player is like COD, Just don't have MOA precision in multiplayer, because that is retarded. Go back to the recoil system and etc from BF2

BF = Team based game with a mature player base that understand the importance of every roll available. Even a weak teammate can assist somehow. The developers have built a new state of the art engine that will change the FPS experience for years to come. They listen to their players and fix the majority of problems at hand. They encompass all aspects of a battlefield (hence the name) with land, sea, and air combat. The multiplayer is fun and there are very few cheaters. The effects of the game are also very nice along with the sounds.

CoD = z0mg woot pwn pwn lololol i killed you lololol im 13 years old and am awesome leet. The dev team's philosophy "If you can't fix it the first time, then forget about it". I think Black Ops is a testament to that. They use the same engine over, and over, and over with minor revisions. While nice, it's not revolutionary and lacking in comparison to Frostbite. The effects are lackluster and so are the sounds. Not to mention arcade like horrid multiplayer riddled with cheaters. This game/series also caters more towards console gamers rather than PC gamers now. Not to mention the last good story they had in their single player campaign was Modern Warfare 1.

BF3 will wipe the floor with CoD's face.

Battlefield. A real PC gamer's series.
