You can try the newest Marvell drivers 1.2.00.1002 from here: http://www.station-drivers.com/page/marvell.htm
Doubt it will improve anything, but just for curiosity. MS drivers will prolly still be better.

I'm using an Intel 510 as an OS drive on the Marvell 9182, using the 1.2.00.1002 Marvell drivers, and all seems well to me.

I haven't run comparative testing with the MSAHCI driver, but the OS certainly doesn't feel laggy.

And yeah, I know, the 510 doesn't compare to the Vertex 3, I bought before reading all the reviews, dumb decision.
