Looking for a laptop

Thread Starter
Looking for a laptop for my gf's birthday. It has to be able to play WoW smoothly and any other game she has on her steam account. Also has to have a built in webcam. Budget is 800$.

So far I found just one for a decent price. But I am open to suggestions.

It's fine. There could be better ones found, but i dont think she wants a heavier laptop, or one with less battery life (from a better gpu and cpu), so you might as well get it. But dont expect her to be able to play all of her games maxed out.

or check dell xps models

That's a good deal actually. For $700, you'd be hard pressed to nab something better.

I wasn't impressed with Acer's. I'd look at MSI or Samsung, I own a GT660-003US and a RF510-S01, and both are well built and good performers. There's a reason the Acers are priced so low, its mostly due to lack of QA and cheap externals. The speakers aren't the best either.

Of course, there are plenty of people who like them, but I am not one of them
