I don't get it...
Last time I checked, bad games don't generate that much revenue, pirated or not, PC or consoles...
Last time I checked, piracy hasn't put any musicians in retirement early...
Last time I checked, piracy hasn't closed down studios from making movies...
I think the porting of games to consoles only has to do the sheer number of customers and audiences rather than studios afraid of piracy. It's a $20+ Billion industry... I am sure as long as there is demand, no matter how bad the piracy gets, there will always be a market for them...
JMHO...

Good games, sell well.
Piracy is just an excuse, like terrorism.

Where're the zealots to refute these claims? Last time I said this I even backed my claims up with proof and the brainwashed just couldn't accept it.
Piracy leads to profit, it's been proven many, many times. Anything to the contrary is a lie, nothing more, nothing less. Now I am well aware those who find it too hard to think for themselves are unable to grasp even proof when it's put before them, but that doesn't change the fact (yes, it's fact) that the only reason why developers don't sell and resort to the piracy propaganda is because they're too lazy to release finished products.
I refuse to pay to beta test games or software which are basically abandoned even prior to release.

says who? many sources claim that the numbers in this thing aren't very reliable and everyone i know usually do not pay for digital entertainment (games, music, movies) unless it was an xbox or ps3 game. heck, i know several devout christians who admit to this too. so i guess that means that you really can't say that most people who illegally obtain media buy it in the end?

Says the person with a high end machine. You got that for epeen or to use it? If it was to use it you're being pretty clever, because if your wish comes true the only thing left will be to Fold or run Boinc.
If you don't use your machine for any form of video or audio editing I can give you my address, so you can mail me your things? I wouldn't mind a fourth machine like yours just for Boinc, especially as you don't play games on your PC.
Christians pirating? You should point out the parts in the bible where it says thou shalt not steal, then sit back and laugh.
