Corsair Vengeance 2*4 gig (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8)

Hello Everyone

I had problem with my last memory and RMA it and bought a new one. Corsair Vengance 2*4 gig (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8)

http://www.corsair.com/vengeance-8gb...m2a1600c8.html

So my question is. I want to run 1600 mhz. I have a Gigabyte GA 870-A-UD3
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro....aspx?pid=3423

I have tried to go to bios and change the Memory Clock x8.00 and 8-8-8-24.
But it doesn´t work to boot in Win7 64bit BSOD. I have the volt 1.5. This memory doesn´t require to go 1.65 VOLT.

So what are Im doing wrong ?

Ive got the same kit. Im not sure whats wrong with yours... Turn on XMP in bios ? I found this kit disappointing at OCing. Got it to 1866 CL9 @ 1.55v. Though Sandybridge isn't RAM tweaking friendly.

Try it at 2T rather than 1T command rate.

I got it working now. 8-8-8-24 With 1,64 volt. Its very very strange. Bad advertise of Corsair Vengeance to handle it 1.5 volt !! LOL !! BAD ADVERTISE !!!

Ah, I see. If you're still using 1T, 1T may require the extra voltage because it is usually less stable than 2T. According to SPD, the RAM is rated 2T at performance settings. Corsair may be doing it right, and you're just doing it wrong 1T does perform somewhat better though.

Might need to RMA the RAM, I have the 9-9-9-24 kit @ 1600mhz and it runs fine at 1.5, but i can go all the way down to 7-8-7 with 1.65 @ about 1700 but maybe i just got a good set?
