So I am posed with a strange and hard decision. Here it is.

I only have a 750w PSU and I'm told it sucks.
My motherboard only supports 2 way X-Fire.

In the future it would probably be easier and more money wise to crossfire than sell your card for crap and spend a ton on a new one. So I would like to crossfire.

Options :
1. Sell GTX470 (is $220 a fair price?), then buy a 6870. In the future I can get another 6870 when the games need it.
2. Keep GTX470 and sell in the future to upgrade to new card.

if your board doesnt support sli then why is it a option?
have you tried the sli hack?
220 is to high maybe 200 shipped
you put in 1 sentance crossfire only then in the next 2 you put sli/cf
then you tell someone who reads and posts to read harder i myself am confused.....
